CTF Duel tournament
Chapter 1: Tournament Format
1.1 Map: Twin Peaks (1v1 bracket).
1.2 Structure: Double elimination.
Chapter 2: Registration
2.1 Registration must be completed through the official CTF website.
2.2 A valid email address is required for registration.
Chapter 3: Match Conduct
3.1 Timeliness:
3.1.1 Players must be present and ready when their match is called.
3.1.2 Failure to appear or being AFK will result in an automatic forfeit.
3.2 Duel Format:
3.2.1 Matches take place in the duel arena.
3.2.2 Players must use the designated duel class.
3.2.3 Players must start on opposite sides of the mat. Lower seed will get to pick the side of the first duel and loser gets to pick from there.
3.2.4 At the start of each match, both players signal they are ready by firing one shot to the side.
3.2.5 The duel continues until one player is eliminated.
3.2.6 Seeding will be picked at random
3.3 Arena Boundaries:
3.3.1 Players who leave the duel mat will receive a penalty slow to 20% of normal movement speed.
Chapter 4: General Rules
4.1 All participants must adhere to the standard game and duel format rules.
4.2 Unsportsmanlike conduct, cheating, or exploiting game mechanics will result in disqualification.
4.3 Tournament organizers reserve the right to make final decisions in disputes or rule clarifications.
4.4 Bracket format is as follows:
4.4.1 Main bracket – best of 3 duels
4.4.2 Losers bracket – best of 1
4.4.3 Semi finals – best of 5
4.4.4 Finals – Best of 7
4.5 Winner will receive a prize of $200 USD which will be sent via PayPal.
4.6 Matches will be played on Jan 14th 2025 starting at 9pm EST.
4.7 Bracket will be distributed on Discord prior to match starting.
Chapter 5: Additional Information
5.1 Updates and match schedules will be communicated through the email provided during registration.
5.2 Ensure you are familiar with the duel arena and rules before your match.
There will be commentary from Albert/Wolven for the dueling tournament.
